Medicolegal and signposting expertise is offered for trauma, sports injury and arthritis (wear and tear) related conditions of the lower limb and spine.
On a case by case basis expert opinion is provided on causation, condition and prognosis for medicolegal cases and those cases requiring tailored rehabilitation services and treatment programmes to aid in recovery.
Mr Malik studied at Lincoln College, Oxford and Trinity College, Cambridge. He then trained in orthopaedic surgery with a special interest in lower limb trauma and constitutional conditions.
His success was recognised by the unprecedented move of his being awarded both the highly coveted British Orthopaedic Foundation and British Association for Knee Surgery Travelling Fellowships, training at The New York Hospital for Special Surgery and The Sydney Mater Hospital. He then completed a one year fellowship in complex hip and knee surgery at Wrightington Hospital.
Mr Malik is an internationally recognised figure in the field of joint replacement having published widely on this subject, being the recipient of a number of research grants including those from The Royal College of Surgeons and The Wellcome Trust and is a reviewer for a number of leading journals including Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research.
